Day 1 – Arrive Delhi

Arrive at Delhi International Airport. Met on arrival and transfer to your hotel.(Nothing been scheduled for today since most of the hotels arrive late at night) Delhi - With 14 million residents of Delhi, the capital of India, is a historic town and always surprising. Among its impressive monuments and nightclubs, large parks and colorful markets, Delhi offers a variety of experiences for every traveler. Overnight in Delhi




Day 02 – In Delhi
Red fort and lotus templeMorning after breakfast, full day sightseeing tour of Old and New Delhi The visit of the old city (XVII Century) included the Great Mosque (Jama Masjid) and the Red Fort, a perfect example of Mughal architecture built by Emperor Shah Jahan between 1639 and 1648. Later have a cycle rickshaw ride into the narrow streets of Chandni Chowk, one of the oldest market of Asia. In the new part of Delhi, visit - the Qutab Minar (built in XII), a splendid monument minaret of the Afghan period. Visit Raj Ghat, the burial place of Mahatma Gandhi and the Mausoleum of Humayun, a huge building that inspired Persians, is the precursor of the Taj Mahal (built by Emperor Akbar in the XV century). Walk on Rajpath, the equivalent of the Champs-Elysees in France, through the India Gate (erected in memory of unknown soldiers), Parliament and President House; visit the Birla Mandir, a Hindu colorful modern temple. Day 03 – Delhi – Varanasi (By flight)
Red fort and lotus templeMorning after breakfast, transfer to Delhi airport in time to board flight for Varanasi. Varanasi, one of the oldest sacred cities of the world, is the capital of Hinduism, and a centre of education, culture, music, and civilization since ancient times. The city is mentioned in the Hindu epics the Mahabharata and Ramayana. It is located on the left bank of the Ganges, facing the rising sun; the other side is devoid of any construction. Dedicated to Shiva, the city is very popular with the sadhus (hermits), and pilgrims. Met on arrival at Varanasi airport and transfer to hotel.The city of Varanasi is famous for its Ghats, river bank covered with stone steps that allow devout Hindus down to the river to practice ablutions and pujas After a short rest proceed for an excursion to the ancient Buddhist site of Sarnath, a centre of Buddhist worship built by the emperor Ashoka in the 3rd century BC. Overnight in Varanasi


Day 04 – Varanasi – Khajuraho (By flight)

Red fort and lotus temple Early morning boat ride on the Ganges. This is one of the highlights of a trip to India: see the multitude of pilgrims who come near the holy river to pay homage to the god of the sun is an incredible experience. The bath in the Ganges is supposed to wash away all sins and allow free themselves from the cycle of rebirth, and is also on special Ghats that we practice cremation in Varanasi.
After the visit, return back to the hotel for breakfast and then proceed for the city tour of Varanasi visiting Vishwanath Temple, dedicated to lord Shiva, Durga Temple and Benares Hindu University.
Later in time transfer to Varanasi airport board flight for Khajuraho. This city is famous worldwide for its temples, which represent life, love and joy. Met on arrival at Khajuraho airport and transfer to hotel.Overnight in Khajuraho

Day 05 – Khajuraho – Orchha (180 Kms / apporx. 04 hours) + Orchha – Agra (By train)

Red fort and lotus templeMorning after breakfast set for the sightseeing tour of the spectacular ninth to thirteen century temples of Khajuraho, built by Chandela kings. The temples are beautifully carved with graceful statues of Gods and Goddesses. Later in time transfer to the Jhansi railway station in time to board train for Agra enroute visiting Orchha. Orchha - is a small town located about ten kilometers south of Jhansi on a plateau surrounded by low mountains forming an easily defensible site. Remained the capital until 1783, when they moved to the Bundela Tikamgarh. There are temples and palaces well preserved small shrines and memorials everywhere, each with its own history, contributing to the nostalgic beauty that characterizes the village of Orchha. Met on arrival at Agra railway station and transfer to hotel.

Day 06 – In Agra
Red fort and lotus temple Early morning, sunrise visit of the world famous Taj Mahal - the first Mughal structure completely in marble and the fusion of several architectural styles. The Taj Mahal is the 7th wonder of the world and the symbol of eternal love Shah Jahan, had dedicated this palace to his love he lost. The death of his wife Mutaz Mahal, with a legendary beauty, has left the heart of the sovereign completely devastated. Mad with grief, he built a monument on her memory. After the visit, return back to the hotel and after breakfast, visit the impressive Red Fort of Agra, situated in the heart of the city. Akbar built the fort between 1565 and 1573, and it was here Shah Jehan was imprisoned by his son for 8 years. The Agra Fort houses many beautiful palaces and mansions. Then visit tomb of Itmad-Ud-Daula (Tomb of Mirza Ghyas Beg), built by his daughter Nurjahan. Mirza Ghiyas Beg was an officer in the court of Jehangir and was honored with the title of Itmad-ud-Daula. Nurjahan was the wife of the Mughal emperor Jehangir

Day 07 – Drive Agra – Jaipur (250 Kms / approx. 05 hours) en route visiting Fatehpur Sikri
Red fort and lotus temple After breakfast, drive to Jaipur enroute visiting Fatehpur Sikri – the city of red sandstone which was the capital of the Mughal Empire during Akbar's reign. Abandoned after 13 years of glory for reasons that remain mysterious, now the city is a ghost town that lives in the solitude of his glorious past. You will discover an impressive public monuments and exquisite private residences etc.
After the visit, continue your drive towards Jaipur. The Pink City of Rajasthan, whose downtown streets are lined with bazaars, is full of color, music, art and history. The present capital of the state, Jaipur was founded in the early sixteenth century by Maharaja Jai Singh II, warlord, astrologer and urban planner who has left his mark. It's called the "pink city" because of its pink sandstone buildings, the color of an autumn sunset.Arrive Jaipur and check in at hotel. Overnight in Jaipur

Day 08 – In Jaipur
Morning after breakfast, proceed for the sightseeing tour of Jaipur. Excursion to Amber Fort en route photo stops at the Hawa Mahal "Palace of the Wind ", one of the famous monuments of Jaipur. There remains only the facade of this palace, pierced with openings to allow women of the harem to see the spectacle of everyday life on the street without being seen, surrounded by majestic ramparts and located in wonderful semi-desert hills. Like the Maharajas, sitting on the back of an elephant, climb up to the Fort. Visit its beautiful palaces that spark of mirrors embedded in marble, visit its temple, dedicated to Goddess Kali. The City Palace in the heart of the old part of Jaipur, contains rare manuscripts and wonderful specimens of Rajput and Mughal art. Do not miss: the observatory of Jai Singh II, built by the passionate Prince of astronomy and astrology. Spend rest of the day at leisure visiting the famous colorful markets of Jaipur. Day 09 – Drive Jaipur – Pushkar (145 Kms / approx. 03 hours)

Morning after breakfast, drive to Pushkar, a little town situated right on the edge of the desert. Pushkar is perhaps best known for its Camel Fair, which takes place on the full moon of Kartik Purnima.  On arrival in Pushkar, check into hotel.  Later sightseeing tour of Pushkar visiting the only Brahma Temple in the world and Pushkar Lake with its bathing Ghats and temples.

Day 10 –Drive Pushkar - Udaipur (300 kms / approx. 06 hours)

Morning after breakfast, drive to Udaipur - one of the most romantic cities of India, has been nicknamed the "City of Dreams" and "City of the Rising Sun." Maharana Udai Singh built the blue lakes, (which reflects the Aravali hills of the Mountains) for the purpose of his new capital. The old city was surrounded by a walled enclosure with 11 gateways, which one can still see the ruins. There are many magnificent palaces to visit in this seductive city, including the Hotel "Lake Palace," an elegant fantasy in white marble. On arrival in Udaipur, check into hotel. Overnight in Udaipur.



Day 11 – In Udaipur

The tour includes the visit of City Palace, the largest in Rajasthan, flanked by octagonal towers surmounted by cupolas, and surrounded by terraces and gardens of different periods, but relatively smooth. Today, the main part of the palace is converted into a museum. Then visit "Garden of maidens" with fountains, marble elephants, and lotus ponds, and then visit the Jagdish Temple, dedicated to Vishnu, with an image of Vishnu as Jagannath, Lord of the Universe.
The day ends with a cruise on the sparkling waters of Lake Pichola. At the time of sunset, it is understandable why Udaipur is the "Venice of the East."Overnight in Udaipur.

Day 12 – Drive Udaipur – Jodhpur (270 Kms / approx. 06 hours) via Ranakpur

Morning after breakfast drive to Jodhpur - "The Blue City", boasts a glorious history and an interesting present for the visitor. It is the second largest city of Rajasthan. Rich forts and palaces, temples and havelis, culture and tradition, spices and fabrics, colors and textures, Jodhpur is an unforgettable place. En route visiting Ranakpur Jain temples a famous Temple complex, one of the biggest and most important of Jain temples in India. The main temple is the Chaumukha Temple, or Four Faced Temple, dedicated to Adinath. Built in 1439, this huge, superbly crafted and well-kept marble temple has 29 halls supported by 1444 pillars and no two are alike. After the visit, continue drive for Jodhpur
Arrive Jodhpur and check in at hotel.

Day 13 – Drive Jodhpur – Jaisalmer (290 Kms / approx. 05 hours)

Red fort and lotus templeMorning after breakfast proceeds for the sightseeing tour of Jodhpur. Visit Mehrangarh Fort, the ancient fortress of Rathor. This magnificent fort is one of the greatest strengths of India. Then visit, Jaswant Thada is a cenotaph of the nineteenth century white marble, built in memory of Maharaja Jaswant Singh II, with superb gates and trellises. Here is also rare portraits of the rulers of Jodhpur.  Later walk around the colorful market with lots of small shops in narrow streets. This is a good place to buy various handicrafts.
After the sightseeing tour, drive for Jaisalmer, located in the middle of the Thar Desert, Jaisalmer seems to be a golden mirage. A visit to Jaisalmer is a must for every traveler in India, with the possibility of camel ride through the magnificent sand, or enjoys the lakes and reservoirs nearby. The Jaisalmer Fort is considered the "Living Fort" the world's oldest, in which traditional life (almost medieval) of residents continues ... in the narrow streets, artisans make their traditional weaving their silver jewelry, their carving, embroidery and handmade. Built on a hill overlooking the Thar desert and can monitor it over a great distance, it is surrounded by a rampart with 99 bastions 5 km and corner towers. On arrival in Jaisalmer, check into hotel. Overnight in Jaisalmer


Day 14 – In Jaisalmer
 After breakfast sightseeing tour of Jaisalmer visiting - Jaisalmer Fort, the only alive fort which you will not see anywhere in India. There are homes and hotels hidden in the laneways and shops. Within the fort walls there are beautifully carved Jain temples built between the 12th and 15th centuries followed by a visit of Gaddisagar Lake and impressive Havelis around the Fort. In the evening drive to Sam where you are received by the camels. Visit to the " Sand Dunes of Sam," and ride camels on the sand at the time of sunset- which would be one of the highlights of your trip to Rajasthan.
Overnight in Jaisalmer.

 

Day 15 – Drive Jaisalmer – Bikaner (285 Kms / approx. 05 hours)
Red fort and lotus templeMorning after breakfast, drive by surface for Bikaner - a walled royal city with a timeless charm and medieval glory. It is located in northern Rajasthan, among the sand dunes, known as the "Land of the Camel," Bikaner boasts of having the best camels in the world. The magnificent forts and palaces, built with fine red sandstone, show the rich cultural and architectural heritage. Arrive Bikaner and check in at hotel. Later proceed for the sightseeing tour of Bikaner.
Visit the Junagarh Fort, constructed between 1589 and 1594 by Raja Rai Singh, one of Akbar's generals important. The palaces in red sandstone and marble are adorned with mirrors, carvings and paintings. There is also a museum of miniatures and valuable antiques. Then visit Karni Mata Temple - built 600 years ago and dedicated to Karni Mata, an incarnation of Goddess Durga. The temple has huge doors, trimmed in silver, a gift from the Maharajah Ganga Singh. Visit a breeding center and research on camels, the only institution of its kind in India.Overnight in Bikaner

 

Day 16 – Drive Bikaner – Mandawa (190 Kms / approx. 04 hours)
Morning after breakfast, drive by surface for Mandawa – in the heart of the Shekhawati region, is the charming village of Mandawa, known for its famous Havelis. The Havelis are houses, small palaces and mansions, found in Rajasthan and Gujarat. Built by Rajput princes or merchants of Mewar, they are decorated with fresco paintings showing religious scenes or objects Western trains, cars, airplanes etc.
On arrival in Mandawa, check into hotel.
Overnight in Mandawa

 

Day 17 – Drive Mandawa - Delhi (275 kms / 06 hrs) & Depart Delhi
Morning after breakfast walking sightseeing tour of Mandawa visiting the Havelis, Anandilal Poddar, Bansidhar Bhagat and Chokhani etc. and later in time drive to Delhi International airport to board flight for onward destination.
